Woody Hydrick has almost 20 years of experience in industrial site selection and incentive negotiation services. He provides international, strategic consulting guidance for capital investment projects including new investments, relocations, expansions or consolidations. He lectures frequently and has presented at professional gatherings across North America and Europe.

Areas of Expertise: Over the course of his career, Woody has sited projects representing billions of dollars in capital investments and thousands of jobs. He has guided manufacturing location decisions from Seattle to Sao Paulo and from Sweden to Singapore. Though he has extensive experience across numerous industries, his true specialization is global deployment of industrial production assets, particularly for pharmaceutical operations.
Past Employment: Following college, Woody started his career interning for a US congressman before working in economic development in Alabama for both local and state agencies. He pivoted his career to site selection consulting in 2000 after joining the engineering firm of Fluor, Inc. as part of their Global Location Strategies business line. As time passed, Woody worked on a range of investment projects across a spectrum of industries. In 2005, Woody left Fluor to join the Business Consulting practice of Cushman & Wakefield, one of the world’s largest commercial real estate houses. After rising to Managing Director of the World Market Access business line at C&W, he returned to the now independently-owned Global Location Strategies as Partner in early 2013.

Education: Woody obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Athens State University.
Personal: Whether meeting in a conference room in Copenhagen, on a tugboat in New Orleans, or surveying a sugarcane field in rural Brazil, his thoughts are never far from home and his wife of 20 plus years, Stephanie, or their two sons, Sam and Jake. In his free time, Woody enjoys golf, travel, BBQs with friends and family, and football weekends.
