Guild Partner | Elevator Pitch Participation

“The Elevator Pitch: Consultants Offer Candid Feedback on EDO Presentations” will be presented on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM and then again at 1:30 PM.

For each session, we are looking for eight Guild Partners to make a 90 second elevator pitch about your community and/or organization. These sessions will be held concurrently with other breakout sessions. Below is a description of the session:

Can you describe your community’s unique story in 90 seconds? A pre-selected group of eight economic developers will each communicate their business case before Guild members and a room of their EDO peers. Guild members will provide live feedback on the pluses and minuses of each pitch followed by overarching recommendations for all economic developers.

• Panelists: Dennis Donovan, Taylor Gravois, Kim Moore and Gray Swoope

Participants will be selected at random. If selected, you’ll be notified of your assigned session and pitch order one week in advance of the Fall Forum. The topic of the elevator pitch is of your own choosing but should highlight what differentiates your community and organization from the thousands of other options that companies/ consultants consider on a daily basis. Our goal is to make this a fun, interactive session that provides valuable guidance to both presenters and the audience.
