Guild Partner | Elevator Pitch Participation

“The Elevator Pitch: Consultants Offer Candid Feedback on EDO Presentations” will be presented on Thursday, March 30 at 1:00 PM and then again at 2:45 PM. For each session, we are looking for eight Guild Partners to make a “90 second” elevator pitch about your community and/or organization. These sessions will be held concurrently with other breakout sessions. Below is a description of the session:

Session 3: The Elevator Pitch: Consultants Offer Candid Feedback on EDO Presentations

Can you describe your community and its unique assets in 90 seconds? Here’s an opportunity to test your “elevator pitch” and receive candid feedback from a panel of Guild members. Economic developers will be allotted time to give their pitch opportunity. The Guild members will provide immediate feedback on the pros and cons of each pitch as well as summary thoughts at the conclusion of the session.

If selected as one of the sixteen participating Guild Partners, you’ll be notified of your assigned session and pitch order one week in advance of the Annual Conference. The topic of the elevator pitch is of your own choosing but should highlight what differentiates your community and organization from the thousands of other options that companies/ consultants consider on a daily basis. Our goal is to make this a fun, interactive session that provides valuable guidance to both presenters and the audience.
