Jones Walker Consulting is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the 83-year-old law firm, Jones Walker, headquartered in New Orleans, La., with 13 offices encompassing 34 practice areas located across the United States from New York to Arizona. Our team has helped negotiate dozens of high-impact projects resulting in billions of dollars in investment, creating tens of thousands of jobs. Our professionals have experience in the private sector in both functional areas and executive director leadership positions.

Our primary areas of expertise include; building and real estate evaluation, transportation and logistics, site evaluation and preparation, workforce analysis, state and local taxes, incentives negotiation, economic development legislation (including the development of public/private partnerships), contract creation, monitoring, and compliance. We have also helped local, regional, and state organizations develop and implement economic development strategies, both holistically and in select target clusters.

PERSONAL NOTE

Von holds an M.B.A. in Marketing and Finance concentration from Loyola University and a B.S.B.A in Production Management from the University of Louisiana – Lafayette. He has served as an adjunct faculty member at the Southern University, New Orleans. Von is a Certified Production and Inventory Control Manager (CPIM) from the Association for Supply Chain Management.

He lives in Mobile, Alabama with his wife Rachael, (Assistant Professor at Springhill College) and his two sons, Oliver and Samuel.
