Our primary areas of expertise include; building and real estate evaluation, transportation and logistics, site evaluation and preparation, workforce analysis, state and local taxes, incentives negotiation, economic development legislation (including development of public/private partnerships), contract creation, monitoring and compliance. We have also helped local, regional and state organizations develop and implement economic development strategy, both holistically and in select target clusters.
Past Employment:
Served under three separate Governors as Louisiana State Cluster Director of Durable Goods/Manufacturing. This included approximately 6,400 companies employing over 250,000. During this time, total manufacturing GDP grew over 160%, propelling Louisiana to become the #1 state in manufacturing momentum (Business Facilities Magazine). Authored and implemented a suite of legislative actions that collectively contributed to numerous awards for best performing Economic Development Organization in the United States from multiple industry publications over numerous years. Total project wins resulted in over $10 billion in investment, 20,000 jobs created and over 30,000 trained.
Served as Project Manager for Kearney, one of the globe’s premier strategic management consulting firms. Managed operational improvement efforts for Global 1,000 corporations throughout the United States and Western Europe. Managed over $25 million in consulting team revenue and identified over $500 million in savings.
Served as International Operations Manager for Intralox, Inc. at their headquarters in New Orleans during a period of exponential expansion, both domestically and globally. Managed injection molding and assembly operations while the business grew from $6 million in annual sales to over $150 million. Performed site selection, start-up and overall operations for multiple plants in the United States, Canada, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands.
