Ken has completed site selection projects in all regions of the United States and several in Asia, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Industry experience includes automotive, semiconductor, aerospace, data centers, and food & beverage manufacturing.
Previously Ken was a Principal and Department Manager with Vierbicher Associates, a community development and civil engineering firm in Madison, Wisc. Ken led a team of planners, urban designers, economic developers, and landscape architects to conduct economic development, community planning and real estate development projects for the public and private sectors. As part of this role, Mr. Maly became a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) with the International Economic Development Council in 2009.
Earlier positions include applying analytics, GIS, data mining and targeted resource allocation to improve the effectiveness of municipal police departments.

Ken holds a Master of Geography from the University of Akron specializing in Economic Geography, Community Planning, and GIS. He also has Bachelor Degrees in Economics and Geography from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater specializing in economic geography, site selection, and macroeconomics.
