Senior Managing Director NewmarkKim L. Moore joined Newmark’s Dallas office in 2014. With a background in economic development, incentive negotiation and strategic planning, Kim has led the marketing efforts and strategic planning for the private sector as well as multiple cities and counties. She has a diverse background with a broad range of economic development, location strategy, labor analytics, workforce development and incentives experience.
Kim is also the Economic Development Consulting service line leader at Newmark Advantage, Newmark’s consulting practice, which provides a wide range of real estate consulting services and an integrated platform providing location strategy, site selection, incentives, economic development and real estate solutions.

Kim has managed multiple projects that have secured almost 11M SF of new and redeveloped space, increased the tax base with committed investments of more than $1.3 billion, created over 17,600 new jobs and negotiated over $4 billion in incentives.
Her primary expertise is in headquarters relocations and bifurcations as she has completed 14 such projects in her career. Kim works with clients across many industries including financial services, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, and technology as well as functions such as back office and call centers in North America and Latin America. She specializes in complex incentive negotiation strategies that reduce clients’ project costs and risk. Her other skills include site selection, labor and data analytics, economic and fiscal impact modeling and market cost comparisons.
Ms. Moore also leads the Economic Development Consulting service line at Newmark Advantage developing target industry studies, workforce development plans and business attraction strategies for economic development agencies across the United States and Canada.

Before joining Newmark almost 7 years ago, Kim was a leader in the City of Dallas Office of Economic Development where she was in charge of marketing and recruitment of projects and FDI into the DFW Metroplex. She also served as the Economic Development Director for San Marcos, TX and began her economic development career in Denton, TX. Kim has over 17 years of economic development experience.

Education:
Kim graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton, TX with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree majoring in Marketing. She is also a graduate of the Economic Development Institute (EDI) sponsored by the University of Oklahoma and is a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP) through the National Development Council (NDC). Kim is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) through the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). She completed the Advanced Economic Development Leadership Master Practitioner (EDMP) certification course sponsored by the University of New Mexico, Clemson University, Texas Christian University, and the University of Southern Mississippi.
Personal:
Kim lives on Lake Lewisville in the DFW Metroplex with her husband, Clayton, and her two Westies, Piper and Rory. She enjoys horseback riding, scuba diving, fishing and animals of all kinds.
