SITE SELECTORS GUILD EXPANDS AGAIN : Eight Members Added to the Elite Roster

LITTLE ROCK, AR (February 4, 2014) – After a comprehensive vetting process The Site Selectors Guild Inc. (SSG) is proud to announce the induction of eight new members, bringing the number of professional consultants in the elite organization to a new high of thirty four. This year’s distinguished roster further extends the Guild membership in North America, Europe and Asia.

New members include:

René Buck, CEO of Buck Consultants International
René Buck is founder of Buck Consultants International (BCI), a Europe-based location advisory firm with over 55 employees. Buck is also a research fellow at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate and a regular writer, speaker and moderator regarding location strategies, site selection, supply chain management and real estate. He holds advanced academic degrees in economic geography and urban planning.

Larry Gigerich, Managing Director of Ginovus
Larry Gigerich has served in the economic development/consulting profession for 22 of the past 25 years. His economic development experience has spanned from working in local and state government, to serving as CEO of a regional economic development non-profit organization. For the past 12 years, Gigerich has served as the founder of a 10-person site selection advisory services firm, Ginovus, which has represented over 200 clients on projects location in 28 U.S. states, provinces in Canada and states in Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Jeannette Goldsmith, President of J. Goldsmith & Company
Jeanette Goldsmith has almost 20 years of experience in site location consulting and site evaluation/certification. Specific experience in site location consulting includes projects in both the manufacturing (specifically aerospace, advanced materials and energy sectors) and office sectors. Her specific responsibilities have included project alignment, site and community evaluations and incentive negotiations.

Matt Highfield, Director at Deloitte Consulting LLP
Matt Highfield is a location strategist with 16 years of professional experience guiding corporations through the site selection process from strategy development, screening, due diligence, incentive negotiations and implementation activities. Highfield began his career with Deloitte Consulting before moving to Cushman & Wakefield in 2007 and on to Jones Lang LaSalle in 2010. He returned to Deloitte as a Director in September of 2012. Over his career he has conducted over 100 Site Selection projects across a wide range of facility types including manufacturing, research & development, customer care and shared services.

Chris Lloyd, Senior Vice President & Director at McGuire Woods Consulting, LLC
Chris Lloyd started his career with a summer internship in the economic research unit at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, serving as the Assistant Secretary of Commerce and Trade for the Commonwealth of Virginia for the five years following college graduation, and then as one of the founders of McGuireWoods Consulting, leading what is now known as the Infrastructure and Economic Development team. Lloyd works with traditional site selection and incentives negotiations for corporate clients, as well as extensive state and local lobbying and public outreach services to help a company accomplish its goals in a new community.

Dennis Meseroll, Executive Director at Tractus Asia
Dennis Meseroll is one of Tractus Asia’s Bangkok-based Directors and a co-founding partner. He oversees business development and corporate strategy for Tractus’ operations. During his 18 years with Tractus, he has worked with over 200 clients in the electronics, automotive, heavy and light manufacturing and process sectors as well as various service sectors, advising and assisting them to develop their market entry strategies with an emphasis on site selection, real estate transactions and investment incentives negotiations throughout markets in Asia.

John Sisson, Principal at Global Location Strategies
John Sisson has performed and manage site selection and incentive negotiations over a 26-year career in site selection and economic development, which followed assignments in corporate finance with Ford Motor Company and Mallinckrodt. Sisson has completed hundreds of successful site selection assignments for his clients with a total investment value exceeding 15 billion dollars. These projects have spanned North America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

Gregg Wassmansdorf, Senior Managing Director of Consulting at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank
Gregg Wassmansdorf delivers site selection and related real estate advisory services across North America and globally. Since joining the real estate brokerage and consulting industry in 1999, he has been a trusted advisory to major corporate clients and mid-size companies in the Unites States, Canada, Mexico and other countries in South America, Europe and Asia. Wassmansdorf holds advanced academic degrees in urban and economic geography, industrial location theory, planning, and urban development.
