Site Selectors Guild Welcomes Seven New Members, Advances Two

 

March 4, 2021 – The Site Selectors Guild has announced the addition of five new full members and two new associate members, as well as the advancement of two current members from associate to full member status. The Guild is the only association of the world’s foremost professional site selection consultants.

Guild membership is the highest standard in the site selection industry. All members must be actively engaged as site selection professionals and adhere to the Code of Conduct established by the Site Selectors Guild. At least seven years of site location experience is required of full members, and three years’ experience is required of associate members.

“As the Guild continues to build out its offerings, it is imperative that our membership represent the best and brightest in the site selection industry,” said Rick Weddle, president and CEO of the Site Selectors Guild. “I’m delighted by the caliber of our new and advancing members and look forward to adding their perspectives and expertise to the Guild.”

Current Guild members that have advanced from associate to full member status are Denise E. Mott, Vice President at J.M. Mullis, Inc., and Sarah Raehl, Senior Manager of Real Estate and Location Strategy at Deloitte Consulting LLP.

New full members include:

John Longshore

John Longshore, Principal and VP of Innovation at Global Location Strategies, leads site selection projects worldwide and develops and deploys technology for the firm. John’s managed projects have created more than $10 billion in capital investment and thousands of jobs.

Tara Nicholson

Tara Nicholson, Senior Manager at Deloitte Consulting, advises clients on how to leverage real estate and location decisions to enter new markets, improve access to talent, reduce risk and decrease structural costs. Her industry experience is primarily in life sciences, technology and consumer/retail.

Leslie Wagner

Leslie Wagner, Senior Principal at Ginovus, leads corporate clients through location analysis, site selection and incentive procurement and management services. She is an expert in negotiating and coordinating initiatives with economic development organizations while synchronizing activities with government agencies.

Matthijs Weeink

Matthijs Weeink, Director in JLL’s European Industrial and Logistics agency team, is responsible for the EMEA market. He has worked extensively across different sectors during his 15-plus years of corporate location strategy experience.

Sarah White

Sarah White, Principal and Vice President of Site Selection at Global Location Strategies, conducts location benchmarking, property evaluations, workforce analysis, and incentive negotiations for companies across the globe. Sarah has more than 12 years of site selection experience, spanning across manufacturing, distribution, and office headquarter projects.

New associate members include:

Taylor Gravois

Taylor Gravois, Principal at CSRS, Inc., draws on his 20 years of experience as a civil engineer and land surveyor in performing site selection, site due diligence, and site development project delivery for both large and small facilities, economic development, and infrastructure projects.  Taylor’s site selection experience ranges from heavy industrial to distribution centers and office headquarters, with a strong focus on large scale, highly complex petrochemical and refining projects.

Kim Moore

Kim Moore, Senior Managing Director at Newmark, has managed projects that have led to nearly 11 million square feet of new and redeveloped space, an increased tax base with committed investments of more than $1.3 billion, the creation of more than 17,600 new jobs and more than $4 billion in negotiated incentives.
