REDI Sites Announces New Site Designations in Second Round of National Program

March 27, 2025

REDI Sites, the first-ever national site readiness program, has conducted its second round of site evaluations and announced 11 new site designations, increasing the total to 17 REDI Site designations.  Each recognized site has undergone a rigorous evaluation process developed by the Site Selectors Guild, the only association of the world’s foremost professional site selection consultants. These designations highlight the sites’ potential to support high-impact investment and stimulate regional economic growth.

Round Two Designated Sites:

Gold

  • John H. Stigall Business Center (Danville, KY)
  • Southern Virginia Megasite at Berry Hill (Danville, VA)
  • Gateway East (Mesa, AZ)

Silver

  • Near Mega Site (Gadsden, AL)

Bronze

  • Heart of America Mega-Site (New Florence, MO)
  • MegaSite USA (Dwight, IL)
  • Alexandria Business Park (Alexandria, IN)
  • Great Meadows Mega Industrial Park (Morganton, NC)
  • Red Rock South (McCalla, AL)

Emerging Sites

  • Lighthouse Road Site (Guilford Spring, PA)
  • Cowley Site (McCalla, AL)

Launched in 2024, the REDI Sites program brings consistency and transparency to a historically fragmented site assessment process. By standardizing evaluation criteria nationwide, the program allows site selection consultants fast and easy access to project-ready sites through an exclusive, searchable database.

“REDI Sites is leveling the playing field by providing national standards for site readiness that companies and consultants can trust,” said Carrie Kelly, managing director of the Site Selectors Guild. “These newly designated sites reflect the kind of strategic preparation and investment that give communities a competitive edge in attracting high-quality jobs and capital investment.”

REDI Sites evaluates submissions across several categories, including infrastructure capacity, ease of development, ownership and entitlements, and more. Sites are awarded one of five designations: Emerging, Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum. The program accepts site submissions on a rolling basis.
