Site Selectors Guild Announces Guild Partner Program
New Program Gives Economic Developers Enhanced Access to Site Selection Consultants
March 31, 2021 – Today the Site Selectors Guild launched the Guild Partner Program, a first-of-its-kind networking partnership between economic development organizations and site selection consultants. The Site Selectors Guild is the only association of the world’s foremost professional site selection consultants.
The Guild Partner Program aims to build strong, working relationships between economic development professionals and the industry’s top site selection consultants. Program benefits include the opportunity to attend intimate, partner-only networking events with Guild members, priority access to register for the Guild’s Annual Conference and Fall Forum, recognition on the Guild’s website and more.
The Guild conducted an online and telephone survey of 275 economic developers to gauge the most-valued benefits for the new program.
“As we gathered feedback from the economic development community and looked for ways to advance the Guild’s mission to create meaningful connections between Guild members and economic developers, we felt the Guild Partner Program would be a valuable new offering,” said Jay Garner, Site Selectors Guild board chair and president of Garner Economics LLC. “The new program is also part the Guild’s strategy to create and offer more new products and content for economic development organizations.”
Enrollment in the Guild Partner Program is by organization, not by individual. The first enrollment period will run from April 1 to May 31, 2021 and space will be limited to the first 100 economic development organizations (EDOs) that sign up. EDOs that join during this time will be considered founding partners. The Guild will open a second enrollment period from October 1 – October 31, 2021.
