Tara is a Principal focused on Global Business Services Location Strategy.  She advises clients on how to leverage real estate and location decisions to enter new markets, improve access to talent, reduce risk and decrease structural costs.

With 15+ years at Deloitte, Tara has industry experience primarily in Life Sciences (Pharma & Medtech), Technology, Financial Services and Consumer/Retail.  Areas of expertise include market entry strategy, location screening and down-selection, shared service, manufacturing and HQ site selection, operating model design, footprint optimization, labor market analysis, change management, business case development and incentives negotiation.  Tara’s primary area of focus is Global Business Services (GBS) site selection in Americas, APAC and EMEA.

Tara is the owner of Deloitte’s proprietary GBS site selection and business case visualization tool (Visual Choice).  She has field experience in the Americas, Asia and Europe.

Tara holds a BA, International Relations from Colgate University, MBA, Real Estate & Multinational Management from The Wharton School and MA, International Economics & Latin America Studies, Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).

Tara lives in Seattle, WA with her husband and two daughters.  She enjoys travel, great food, skiing, boating and hiking.
