The 2026 State of Site Selection Pulse Check
March 22, 2026The 2026 State of Site Selection Pulse Check offers an interim look at how site selectors are navigating location decisions amid a rapidly evolving global landscape.
This summary report, produced by Development Counsellors International (DCI) in partnership with the Site Selectors Guild, is an update to The 2025 State of Site Selection, a primary research study conducted annually that identifies the top trends impacting the domestic and international facility location decision-making process.
Rather than wait for the next annual cycle, we asked Guild members: What has changed? What has accelerated? What has emerged as a new concern that was not on our radar before?
This update captures input from 49 Guild members across the globe and serves as a timely pulse check on how conditions and the weighting of location factors have changed and to shed light on the issues that are top of mind for corporate decision-makers and their advisors.
One of our Guild Members and DCI’s Senior Vice President of Research, Robyn Domber, are available to deliver custom virtual or in-person presentations of the research upon request. Inquire at [email protected].
A timely pulse on the forces reshaping corporate location decisions
