Andrew Ratchford is a Director with Site Selection Group focused on industrial site selection and economic development consulting engagements. Andrew is well versed in all phases of site selection with experience both in North America and international markets. Alongside the Site Selection Group team, he develops and executes custom location strategy plans to meet customer demands effectively and efficiently.

Prior to joining the Site Selection Group, Andrew was a Senior Consultant with Global Location Strategies, where he provided site selection consulting with a particular focus on energy, mobility, chemical, and consumer product sectors. During his time there, Andrew advised projects whose total announced capital investment exceeded $7.5 billion. He also managed site readiness and evaluation programs for several economic development groups such as CSX Select Sites and Tennessee Valley Authority.

Before Andrew found site selection, he managed investments for Graycliff Capital Partners, a private equity-backed real estate development firm, where he supported $300 million in equity deployment and oversaw a capital improvement program resulting in $87 million in capitalized value. He also worked with Greenville County, South Carolina as a Principal Planner where he oversaw area/city master plan developments, grant administration, and ordinance development.

Andrew graduated Summa Cum Laude from North Greenville University with a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies. After several working years, Andrew earned a Master of Business Administration with a real estate focus from Clemson University.
