Gregg Wassmansdorf is a U.S. and Canadian citizen, a corporate real estate specialist, a LEED accredited professional in sustainability, a cross-border FDI business expert, and a leader at Newmark Global Strategy, the consulting practice within the real estate services firm, Newmark, which provides a wide array of real estate consulting services and a substantial platform for providing fully-integrated location strategy, site selection, incentives, and real estate solutions.

Gregg works with his corporate clients across all functional areas of their enterprise to address challenges related to business location strategy, supply chain realignment, facility portfolio, and footprint optimization, site selection, economic incentive negotiation and procurement, workplace strategy, property transaction execution, and capital project implementation.

His management and site selection consulting expertise has also been utilized to support senior and lower levels of government with economic development strategy, investment attraction initiatives, and regional & community competitiveness assessments. He is regularly called upon by investment promotion and economic development agencies for his expert opinions.

PERSONAL NOTE

Mr. Wassmansdorf graduated from Queen’s University with his B.A. (Honours) in Urban and Economic Geography. He then secured a national fellowship and relocated to Los Angeles to earn his Masters’s degree in Geography from the University of Southern California (USC). He further pursued doctoral studies in urban geography, regional economics, industrial location theory, and urban planning with time spent at USC, UCLA, and the University of British Columbia.
