René Buck is president and CEO of BCI Global (Buck Consultants International), a company he founded in April 1985. More than 37 years later BCI Global is one of the world’s leading independent footprint optimization, location strategy, site selection, and supply chain consulting companies. BCI has offices in the US (Atlanta, Bay Area, Los Angeles), Europe (Nijmegen & the Hague-the Netherlands; London-UK; Frankfurt-Germany), and Asia (Shanghai for China; Singapore for APAC, including India).
The firm employs 75 dedicated professionals and has assisted more than 1,000 clients in 50 countries worldwide. PERSONAL NOTE
René Buck started BCI on the day that he graduated from the university in April 1985. René has spoken at numerous conferences in the United States, Europe, and Asia. He has published many articles and is regularly interviewed on actual investment (climate) topics by the world press. René is a research fellow at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate and is a member of industry associations like CoreNet and IAMC.
He holds university degrees in Economic Geography and Locational Planning from the University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands.
